doogie67
I have a pile of old glass negatives. Anyone know who could develop them? I also have a bunch of late 80s Kodak disk negatives that I would like to get prints from if anyone knows where let me know. Dobby

old farm boy
Love the pics of the Daugherty mine, it was not far from the old Beechwoods school and church. Also just over the hill from our farm. My best friend growing up was a Daugherty, we spent a lot of wintery Saturdays delivering coal to DuBois and surrounding area homes, shoveled a lot of coal in those days. The coal from that area down to Westville was very high quality, some of it was chosen to fire the Queen Elizabeth on her maiden voyage.

Citylady26
Thank-you for posting those pictures, it shows how hard people worked in those days, they took pride in their work and enjoyed what we take for granted, parade pictures were great, yes everyone stood, no one sat while watching the parade. If anyone has a pic of Helvetia or Kramer Mines please post my Dad worked in both till they closed down. Thank-you for sharing our for-fathers with us.
