Beatty, age 67, of Treasure Lake, DuBois, PA died on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Christ the King Manor, DuBois, PA. He was born November 23, 1949 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Oran and Grace (Muth) Beatty. On April 23, 2008, he married Connie M. (Fortunato) Beatty. She survives. He retired from the maintenance department from Owens Brockway after 35 years of service. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing pool and boating. He was a member of the Treasure Lake Sportsman Club and the George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17. He is survived by one brother Darryl Beatty and wife Louise of Luthersburg, PA and one sister Betty Tabb and her husband Joe of Mifflintown, PA. He was preceded in death by one brother Arthur Beatty. There will be no public viewing. There will be a celebration of life on Friday, September 15, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the Lakeview Lodge at Treasure Lake. Interment will be in Luthersburg Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hahne Caner Center, 100 Hospital Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801 Arrangements are under the direction of the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
