Marie J. DePillo, Age 88, formerly of West Logan Avenue, DuBois, PA died on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, PA.

Born of June 18, 1929 in Sykesville, PA she is the daughter of the late George & Susan (Skibo) Kosko.

On September 6, 1952 she married Anthony DePillo, who preceded her death on February 7, 1981.

She was a homemaker and had worked at Jeffers Electronics for 14 years and the DuBois Area School District for 10 years.

She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church as well as being a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was a past DuBois Regional Medical Center Hospice Volunteer. She enjoyed gardening, working out in the yard and watching the Pittsburgh Pirates. Most of all, she loved being with her family.

Marie is survived by 2 children: Marcia Marchioni & her husband Robert of DuBois, PA and James DePillo & his wife Karla of Nokesville, VA. She is also survived by a brother George Kosko of Erie, PA; 3 grandchildren: Anastasia DePillo and Alison & Bridget Marchioni and a great grandchild, Jude Marchioni.

She was preceded in death by a brother, John Kosko and 3 sisters, Margaret Kokoska, Marcella Dobrosky & Marlene Miknis.

There will be no public visitation. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10 AM with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Catherine Cemetery.

Memorial may be placed with DuBois Central Catholic, P.O. Box 567 and/or Christ the King Manor, 1100 West Long Avenue, both of DuBois, PA 15801.

Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
