The Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Marie Ann “Mae” Lesky, who died Wednesday, February 28, 2018, will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. from St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.

Marie Ann “Mae” Lesky, Age 93 of South Ave., DuBois, PA died Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at her home.

Born on December 8, 1924 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Matthew & Nellie (Kaieras) Zbieg.

On August 19, 1950 she married her husband of 63 years, Joseph S. Lesky.  He preceded her in death on October 13, 2013.

Mae was a homemaker and had worked for the Lithuanian Independence Club, and Gleason Cherry, and Cherry for many years. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church 

She is survived by his two daughters, Linda Rosselli and Cheryl Johnson and her husband Richard both of DuBois, PA; a sister Dorothy Laukitis of DuBois, PA; and four grandchildren (Shawn Lesky, Michelle Johnson, Alyssa Rosselli and Jeremy Johnson).

She was preceded in death by her 2 sisters, Stella Kruzelak and Bernice Zbieg; and 3 brothers, Stan, Steve, & Edward Zbieg.

Per Mae’s wishes, there will be no public visitation.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be announced at a later date.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Memorials may be placed with St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 116 South State Street, DuBois, PA 15801 and/or the charity of the donor’s choice.

The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
