Administrators Pompeii Posted May 27, 2018 Administrators Share Posted May 27, 2018 Belva Jean Christian, Age 88 of Creation Drive, DuBois, PA died Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Christ the King Manor. Born on July 15, 1929 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Louis H. & Lesta B. Murray Sturm. On July 23, 1949, she married Dennis J. Christian. He survives. Belva Jean was a graduate of the Sandy High School Class of 1947. She worked at JC Penny in DuBois for over 15 years and then owned and operated her own ceramic shop, The Loving Touch Ceramic Shop, for many years. She was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and loved to work in her flower garden. Belva Jean is survived by a daughter (Greta L. Notto & her husband Louis of Reynoldsville, PA) and a son (Allen D. Christian of Pittsburgh, PA). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Bockus officiating. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
