Petee
OK, it's killing me. What is the tall white flower in the ditch across from the bus station on the DuBois Rockton Road? It looks like cohosh but isn't. The leaves have three slightly lobed leaflets. My grandkids and I trekked there but they're way down in the ditch and none of us were going there! Petee
I accidentally discovered the name today while printing off some information for my files.......I wondered if the plant I saw across from the bus station might be Poison Hemlock or Giant Hogweed, but it is a close look-alike called Meadow Rue. Flying by in a car you can't distinguish it. We walked to see it closer and I realized it wasn't anything poisonous but I couldn't positively identify it.
