Marilou Knobloch, age 89, East Scribner Avenue, DuBois, PA died Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Christ the King Manor.

Born on August 30, 1928 in New Castle, PA, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Grace L. (Delp) McCracken.

On April 16, 1948, she married "J" Walter Knobloch.  He preceded her in death on August 14, 2015.

She retired from the DuBois Area School District as an office manager of the DuBois Area High School. After her retirement, she served several years as manager of the DuBois Office for State Representative Dan Surra.

Marilou was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in DuBois and active in the DuBois Ministerial Food Pantry.  She was also a volunteer for the American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society. 
She is survived by her children; Michael Knobloch and his wife, Cindy, of DuBois, PA, Patrick Knobloch of State College, PA, Timothy Knobloch and his wife, Elizabeth, of Parkersburg, WV, Kathleen Zrowka and her husband, David, of Pittsburgh, PA and Julie Felix and her husband, Rod, of DuBois, PA, as well as ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Marilou was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret J. Bartley, 3 brothers; Robert E. McCracken, James A. McCracken and Norman L. McCracken.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor John Miller and Pastor Amy Godshall-Miller officiating.

Burial will be in Castle View Cemetery in New Castle, PA.
