Phyllis B. Godak, Age 94, of DuBois, PA died on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, PA.

Born on November 11, 1923 in Eriton, PA she was the daughter of the late Walter and Agnes Petro Baranoski.

On November 29, 1941 she married Stanley S. Godak. He preceded her in death on June 30, 1980.

Phyllis retired in 1984 from Brockway Glass after 20 years of services.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the Rosary Infant of Prague Society, and enjoyed working the polish festival each year. She was also a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 813 Auxiliary.

Phyllis is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara Sobczak of DuBois, PA and Marlene Good & her husband Pete of DuBois, PA; 3 sisters, Genevieve Doksa of Bellefonte, PA, Josephine Krulia & her husband Henry of DuBois, PA and Bernice Rydbom of Meadville, PA; 4 grandchildren, Andrew & Michael Good, Vicki Strishock and Christine Wagaman; 3 great grandchildren, Cassandra, Chelsie & Edward, Jr. and 2 great-great grandchildren, Stella & Maddie.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Walter and Frank Baranoski and 2 sisters, Mary Vesnesky and Dorothy Ball.

Friends will be received on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 10-11 AM from the Chapel at Christ the King Manor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 11 AM from the Chapel at Christ the King Manor with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.

Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery.

The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
