Cashmere Henry Krulia, Age 92, of DuBois, PA died on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the DuBois Nursing Home.

Born on September 24, 1925 in Coverdale, PA, he was the son of the late Andrew and Henrietta Yopek Krulia.

He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. 

On May 16, 1953 he married Josephine Baranoski Krulia. She survives. They have been married for 65 years.

Henry retired from Rockwell International Manufacturing after many years of service and previous to that for many years he was a professional carpenter.

He was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and the Polish Citizen Club. He was an avid gardener, loved working in his yard and enjoyed woodworking.

Henry is survived by 2 daughters, Mary Ann Frankola & her husband John D. and Janet Krulia both of Pittsburgh, PA; 3 grandchildren, Kathryn, Stephen & Kevin and 2 great grandchildren, Walter and Henry.

He was preceded in death by 7 siblings, Julie Pirog, Mildred Marmura, Mary Shubra and Stanley, John, Anthony & Walter Krulia.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.

A Scriptural Wake Service will be held on Friday at 1:30 PM from the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 10AM from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.

Full military honors will be accorded by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard from the church.

Burial to follow in St. Michael Cemetery.
