Taylor, Sr., Age 79, formerly of Locust Street, DuBois, PA died on Monday, September 17, 2018 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on June 2, 1939 in Shawmut, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Lena Mann Taylor. On April 25, 1959, he married Josephine L. (Armagost) Taylor. She preceded him death on March 20, 2011. He retired as an attendant from Highway Oil Gas Station on Brady Street in DuBois. Previous to that he worked for Damus Brothers RC Cola for 17 years. He loved watching baseball and wrestling. Chuck is survived by 5 children, Donna A. Burton & her husband Kenny of Indianapolis, IN, June L. Frantz of Punxsutawney, PA, Patricia L. Perry & her husband Jeff of DuBois, PA, Charles A. Taylor, Jr. of Johnstown, PA and Hope M. Taylor of DuBois, PA; a sister, Jean Smith of DuBois, PA; 2 brothers, Michael Taylor & his wife Fran and Patrick Taylor & his wife Lois both of Brockway, PA; 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers, 3 sisters, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 11 AM from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor Terry Felt officiating. Burial will be in Lakelawn Cemetery.
