Gloria A. Paulinellie, 90, resident of Homeland Center, Harrisburg, formerly of DuBois, died peaceably on Sunday, September 30. 2018 in Harrisburg, PA.

Gloria Marando was born on January 17, 1928 in DuBois, the daughter of the late Harry L. and Mary (Poulifka) Marando.

On June 16, 1951, she married Chester W. Paulinellie, formerly of Sykesville.  He preceded her in death in 1992.

Gloria was a member of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Parish and Holy Name of Jesus Church in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  Gloria was a homemaker and caregiver for many years while residing in DuBois, and also worked for the DuBois Hospital in the Admissions Office.  Upon moving to Harrisburg, she became a Mary Kay Consultant.

Gloria enjoyed gardening, bird-watching, and spending time with her family.  She was a devout Catholic who had a strong devotion to a daily rosary, and would recite the rosary every Sunday with her daughter and grand dog at Homeland Center.

Survivors include her son, Chet Paulinellie of Walnut Creek, California; daughter, Christine Arnold and husband William of Harrisburg; and a sister, Mary L. Marando of DuBois.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Harry Marando.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc in DuBois, A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
