Bruzga, Age 88, of Cottage Lane, DuBois, PA died on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, PA. Born on May 7, 1930 in Helvetia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Mary (Sulin) Barabas. On October 6, 1956 she married Benjamin J. Bruzga. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2004. Frances retired from the bookkeeping department at the Riverside Division of the Penn Traffic Company after many years of service. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and the Kings of Lithuania Council #86. She enjoyed cooking and sewing, most of all, she enjoyed being with her family. Frances is survived by 3 children, James Bruzga & his wife Suzanne of Mechanicsburg, PA, Jill Bruzga of Richmond, VA and Robert Bruzga of Durham, NC; a sister, LaVerne Muth of DuBois, PA and 7 grandchildren, Ben, Andy, Phil & Joe Bruzga and Liz, Mara & Abby Flannery. She was preceded in death by her brother (Edward Barabas) and 2 sisters (Josephine Paterek and Mary Symansky). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated-on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11 AM from the Chapel at Christ the King Manor with Fr. Matias Quimno as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be placed with Christ the King Manor, 1100 West Long Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801.
