She had a great love of family. She loved family gatherings with lots of food and hosted family reunions and holiday events at the camp and her home for many years. Every birthday and holiday meant a dinner together, and she and A.B. hosted a regular gathering of family and friends every Friday evening.

She was a skilled and competitive gin player. She had a broad area of interests & activities such as, hunting, golfing, quilting, crafting, traveling the world including long RV rides to Alaska, finishing woodworking projects from A.B.'s wood shop and genealogy, where she worked hard to research and complete her family tree.

Martha is survived by a daughter (Mary Lea Haugh & Charlie of Brookville, PA); a son (Bob Hallstrom and his wife Peggy of DuBois, PA) 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a brother (John "Jack" Miller & his wife Carol of Luthersburg, PA).
