There is an increased police presence at the Monroeville Mall after at least 10 shots were fired into the mall following a fight that involved two groups of men inside the mall Friday evening, police said. Police said the fight proceeded outside to the parking lot and one man with a black coat with yellow striping fired at least 10 shots into the mall near Macy's. Police said that the shooter and the groups of men fled the scene. Police are reviewing security camera footage.Tap the video player above for Pittsburgh's Action News 4 reporter Katelyn Sykes' report from the mall. Monroeville police initially thought that someone was hit by the gunfire. This is still possible, but when officers arrived, there were no victims at the scene. Mall officials reported that one person was injured but they are not saying how that person was hurt. "The initial altercation occurred inside the mall, but the actual shooting happened outside the mall where the shots were fired from, back in toward Macy's. You can see the shattered windows there and the shell casings we have out on the street level here," Chief Doug Cole said. I guess they can risk their life if they like ...

I'm betting it will less packed with out of towners after this 2nd gun fire incident.

I've been there only a few times.  I'll never go back.

Idk, maybe.  I dont think they worry abt out of town shoppers.. the local economy is plenty to keep it thriving.
