Sheetz is rolling out its first-ever craft beer on a limited-time basis at a handful of stores in the Pittsburgh area. (Tap the video player above to see the new beer.)Project Coffee Hopz was unveiled Monday night at an event on the city's South Side. The coffee bean IPA is brewed with Sheetz Bros. Sumatra coffee beans, in partnership with Mifflinburg-based Rusty Rail Brewing Company.Beer tastings will be available at a launch party from 4-7 p.m. May 16 at Sheetz on Route 88 in Bethel Park.Starting May 21, the beer will be sold in four-packs of 16-ounce cans for $7.99 at select locations in Pennsylvania.Sheetz said Project Coffee Hopz will only be available while supplies last.  There is criteria set forth by the PLCB that is stringent in the location of a license holder. The council can object but the PLCB can overrule these objections if they find that the objections are without merit. 

Sheetz could also just purchase a local license and not be subjected to the council.

A convenient store in Curwensville did this after the town council did the same thing in trying to stop it from transferring  a auction license. Council could do nothing to stop it.
