Petee
Odds are that if you plant the seeds this fall, you will get a smaller sized bulb in the spring. The largest cloves of a garlic head make the largest heads. You should always pick off the largest cloves to make the biggest heads, but use the seed to grow larger amounts of heads. Be sure to amend your garlic bed properly for the best growth and yield.
lavender
Don't do it unless you want to wait two or three years for a decent sized head of garlic. You can use them in stir fry before they form skins or make a garlic pesto out of them.
