Authorities: 1 person rescued from house fire in Reynoldsville. (MGN)

Fire crews say one person was rescued from a house fire early Wednesday morning in Reynoldsville.

According to the Reynoldsville Fire Department, multiple crews responded to reports of a structure fire near the firehouse just before 3 a.m. It was later determined the fire was at a house across the street from the firehouse along Jackson Street.

Crews say they were able to rescue one person trapped inside a bedroom. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Crews say the fire originated in the kitchen and was ruled accidental by a state police fire marshal.

The Red Cross also responded to the scene.                                                                                                                                SEE TWEET  ;        https://wjactv.com/news/local/authorities-1-person-rescued-from-house-fire-in-reynoldsville
