EMPORIUM, Pa (WJAC) — Emporium Borough police are warning the public of drug-laced candy that has been discovered within the community.

Police say following a recent arrest, officers seized Pez-like candy that had been coated with a form of benzodiazepines, otherwise known as Benzo, which is used to treat anxiety, panic attacks and depression.

Police say the drug-coated candy was ordered online but want the public to be aware of what is in their community.
