Thomas Tinker was born on February 9, 1957, to Ben and Norma Tinker of Dubois, PA. His father Ben precedes him in death.

He married Amy Tinker (Nemeth) in 1980. They were blessed with 40 years of love and friendship. They had two children Michael and Stefanie. Stefanie passed away 1997 and met Tom in heaven.

He was a teacher at Jeff Tech for 23 years following 12 years of teaching at Triangle Tech. He loved his work. His students brought him great joy. He was a member of the Life Community Church and took every opportunity to serve his church and community.

His believed in Jesus’s first and second great commandments, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. You shall love your neighbor as yourself”. His life is a testament to these commandments.

In 2011, his lifelong dream became a reality and he designed and built his own home on his family farm. When he wasn’t finishing the house, he enjoyed reading historical novels, watching the Steelers and Pirates play, playing word games on his iPad and eating ice cream.
