Administrators Pompeii Posted March 1, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 1, 2021 George J. Cobert, III, age 67 of DuBois, PA died Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on April 22, 1953 in Amarillo, TX, he was the son of the late George J.and Lydia A. (Manini) Cobert, Jr. On May 8, 1976 he married his wife of 44 years, Felicia L. (Federici) Cobert. She survives. George was a self-employed general contractor for 45 years. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, was a board member of the Reitz Theater, and Past President and board member of Treasure Lake Property Owners Association. He enjoyed being outdoors and woodworking. Above all, he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. George is survived by 1 daughter (Jennifer Laur & her husband Brian of Naples, FL), 1 son (George J. Cobert IV & his wife Heather of Bethel Park, PA), 3 grandchildren; (Mason & Catherine Laur and George J. Cobert V) and 3 sisters; (Cindy Gazda, Betty Cobert & Peggy Gabrich). There will be no public visitation. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
