  1. Richard M. Williams, age 55 of Reynoldsville, PA died Monday, April 15, 2024 at his home after a long battle with renal failure and cancer. Born on May 15, 1968 in Rockledge, FL, he was the son of the late Julius T. and Eloise (Phillips) Williams. On September 15, 2001 he married Cathy (Hunter) Striegel. She survives. Richard worked in Information Technology at Valencia College in Orlando, FL for many years. He assisted with many events for the Reynoldsville Community Association and the Reynoldsville American Legion Post 392. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and participated in Bikers for Babies. Richard also enjoyed golfing. He was always trying to help others. He is survived by two stepsons (Shawn Striegel and his wife Misty of DuBois, PA and Steven Striegel of Falls Creek, PA), four step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren, two sisters (Patricia Wise and Julie Williams, both of Orlando, FL), and a nephew. There will be no public visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, New York 10016-5337. The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.   2. Dorothy A. Shaffer, age 82 of Falls Creek, PA died Monday, April 15, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on March 12, 1942 in Natrona Heights, PA, she was the daughter of the late Samson and Gertrude (Snyder) Becker. On June 4, 1977 she married her husband of 46 years, Robert R. Shaffer. He survives. Dorothy retired as an aide from Christ The King Manor after 23 years of service. Along with her husband, she is survived by one daughter (Tammy Grant and her husband Richard of Mercer, PA), two grandchildren, and three siblings (Lorraine Bartos-Errico of Tarentum, PA, Samson Becker, II and his wife Sandy of Natrona Heights, PA and Melissa Martin and her husband James of Penfield, PA). Dorothy was preceded in death by one daughter (Tracey Courson), one grandson Jason, and one sister (Laura Bach). There will be no public visitation and all services will be private. Adam Hetke, who identifies as a female vampire named Sabrina, has a lengthy criminal history involving multiple sex offenses against women and outstanding charges related to a homicide. Hetke, 35, was charged in July of 2021 with first-degree sexual assault by threatening the use of a dangerous weapon and second-degree sexual assault of a mentally ill victim. The assault occurred in Waukesha, and involved a 16-year-old cognitively disabled girl Hetke had met at a local gas station. According to the complaint, Hetke terrified the girl, telling her he was a “vampire” who would harm her if she did not comply with his demands.   10. Joyce L. Stuart, age 78 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Christ the King Manor. Born on October 28, 1945 in Vestaburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late John “Jack” and Ann (Kubicar) Corrigan. On July 27, 1963, she married Kenneth H. Stuart. He preceded her in death on January 2, 2018. Joyce was a homemaker. She enjoyed bingo, puzzles, and loved going camping and to the casino. Joyce is survived by two sons (Scott Stuart and his wife Darlene and Ken Stuart and his wife Stephanie, both of DuBois, PA), four grandchildren (Sara Stuart, Melissa Lougee and her husband Brandon, and Jennifer and Joshua Stuart), and a brother (Edward Corrigan of Warren, Ohio). She was preceded in death by one sister (Rose Wachinski) and three brothers (John, Robert and Daniel Corrigan). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 5 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 11 AM from the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Orndorff officiating. Burial will take place in Morningside Cemetery. The teenage victim identified the suspect and disclosed an assault that happened in the early 2000s when she was a young child. She did not initially report it due to fear of repercussions but came forward after learning that other teenagers had experienced similar abuse by the suspect. LCSO investigators began gathering information and found a 2019 report of sexual assault involving Gomez-Perdomo and a different victim, but the District Attorney’s Office declined to file charges at the time. LCSO investigators reopened the previous case in conjunction with the newer allegations.
