 A Los Angeles 17-year-old who ran over a mother walking her baby in a stroller in 2021 and received just a few months of diversionary camp as punishment was gunned down in Palmdale, California, this week.

My SIL & I went to Hyndman today to get SOB her puppy today. Was nice ride down, left around 7:30 this morning & got there at 10.  SOB named her puppy Midge, she is beautiful!!! Also a well behaved puppy in the car, she slept 99% of the time.
 

 
They also had a long haired weenie. I sent the pic to my hubby of her, but we had to go towards MD to get cell reception down there. Finally we were able to send the pic. We turned around and was about 1/2 hour from Hyndman when I got a text from him ... OMG!!! Next thing I know the phone is ringing & Amy answered it for me, I heard him say "I want that dog!!"  Long story short, he text me when we were in Roaring Springs & asks how many dogs were in the car, I said 3, we had Wiener Dog with us. So we also got a new weenie today also. She is gorgeous!!! She is NOT like her sister, she is trouble in the car!! lol
 

Just got her week 5 pic!! Her ears are starting to stand up and her little tail is so cute!!

Her mother is a blue Merle chihuahua & her father is a brindle chihuahua.
The marks on her nose & under her eyes are blue Merle.

We are going to be adopting a baby girl in 4 weeks!! Our little girl will be 8 weeks old & we can't wait to bring her home!!

Sorry to hear about your mother in laws and your loss of a beloved member of your family. Animals do melt your heart and for those of us who understand we feel your pain.  I must say i did get choked up reading your posts. I thought back to several of my own dogs that I lost and have been dreading the day when one or more of my three I have now passes. I will at least know that they will not be alone as the other dogs will be there when we are not.
 
My last dog passed away by himself. We were at work and came home to find him. I had him to the vet just three days prior but there was no indication he was going to pass that soon or at all. we knew the leg was cancerous and thought he was going to have to have it amputated but it was not to be. He was lying by the front door waiting for us to come home. I still tear up knowing he died alone and wishing I had been with him in his final moments.

Sometimes they just don't feel good, like us...... I keep a bottle of buffered aspirin and Pepto bismol's around for those days..... Per my Vets instructions, if it doesn't help within 24 hours, then I call him..... Glad he's feeling better.....

OK now they have taken over my recliner, things will never be the same!!

Well we had to go and buy sweaters for them so they didn't shiver when they went outside to do their thing.. I think this has gotten out of hand..

Well we came home with 2 pups and they are already warming our hearts, we couldn't split the brothers up cause they were so cute!!

I asked our Vet that same question, and he told me the same, "she'll let you know"......  She was diagnosed with Cancer at the age of 10, lived 5 more years....  When she started having trouble with her walks and having accidents plus she had quit eating for the most part....  She gave us that look that said "I've had enough".......  One of the hardest things we've ever done, but it is the most humane thing for them.....  The Vet came out to the car and gave her the shot and she went to sleep in my arms......    That would have been Shelbea, but with Abigail, she got sick and went down hill within weeks, we waited a couple of days too long, she ended up having a stroke and seizure then dying at home...  Was one of the most horrible things to witness....  My heart broke...   She suffered....  We were going to take her to the Vet the next day to have her "go to sleep" .  If you think she's miserable then she probably is....  Good luck with your decision......  Thoughts are with you....
