Does anyone know of a cookie recipe made out of a cake mix? I think it is something like eliminating one of the cake ingrediants.

Andy always talks about boats going in and around PT. And how they watched the water rise right up to the top cellar step. He was all of 6 years old!

My dad grew grape tomatoes for me last summer and we had more than we ever knew what to do with!! And they were so delicious!! I dont know what he did, but if you want, I can ask....but knowing him it was nothing secretive. We are planning a big garden this summer as well....some things at our house and the others at my parents. It will surely help with the grocery bill.

In the group of old postcards posted above, there is a picture of a Presby Church....Where is that? My husband went to school at the old Wilson building. He and Mark Hoffer walked thru it a couple of times trying to think of how to save it. There are federal and state grants that could help, but they decided it was just too much to take on themselves.

AC Nelson was my MIL's uncle. I met him once when Andy and I were first married. He was the happiest person and very loving. Andy is always very proud when we go to Hoss's and he sees the old store sign.

I wish I had a photo of our Charley to share, but we only had him 2 weeks. We brought him home on June 21 when he was only 7 weeks old. Boy did we ever get attached to him fast. He died suddenly at the vets office on July 6. I am not a crier at all and I bawled for hours! It is still very hard to go home and not get to sit and hold "the baby" wrapped in his blanket. It was the best way to wind down from a horrible day at the office. I truly miss that little kitten.
