  1. I looked this up a week or so ago when one of their cardboard mailings arrived by post. I do recall of seeing a name for a contact person in Sykesville, but I don't think I wrote it down because I really wasn't interested. The group was apparently formed in 1989. From the above posted link you can look at contributors by using the search box on the right side. Reports are as recent at 2016. I did look at those from my county who donated and for whom.
  2. We got our paper check in Friday's mail.
  3. Our check is scheduled to be mailed on May 8th according to the website.
  4. "A Pennsylvania state lawmaker has introduced legislation that would require individuals who wish to purchase gun ammunition to first obtain a permit. GOP State Rep. Thomas Murt introduced HB 2344 and filed it with the memo “Addressing Gun Violence and Enhancing Public Health and Safety,” according to Breitbart News. The 25-page bill says that “a person holding an ammunition purchase authorization permit issued under this section may purchase or otherwise seek the transfer of ownership of ammunition from a retailer that sells ammunition.” The bill says that the cost of the permit will not exceed $50 and also adds a tax on gun and ammunition sales. Residents would also be barred from bringing in ammunition bought from other states without coordinating with a licensed dealer. The bill would also effectively end internet ammunition sale and delivery, according to Guns.com." 5. It's a caw. Self pawking caw. All of the Liberty Mutual ads annoy me, and the Motaur Progressive commercial.
  6. Possibly ecto-mist. I witnessed it several times at a former workplace in Brookville. Sometimes has a 'woosh" sound and cold chill with it. It kind of makes your hair stand on end until you get used to it.
  7. I knew a boy in high school who was at Camp Mt Run for the first time and got so frightened of the Hodag on the mountain that he ran and dove into a car through the open window and wouldn't come out, had to be taken home. He quit scouts.
  8. It's a wild flower, about 2 to 3 feet tall. The leaf lower right section with lots of veins. Someone else guessed a type of ageratum.
