I'm betting you'll just call her puppy.

My SIL & I went to Hyndman today to get SOB her puppy today. Was nice ride down, left around 7:30 this morning & got there at 10.  SOB named her puppy Midge, she is beautiful!!! Also a well behaved puppy in the car, she slept 99% of the time.
 

 
They also had a long haired weenie. I sent the pic to my hubby of her, but we had to go towards MD to get cell reception down there. Finally we were able to send the pic. We turned around and was about 1/2 hour from Hyndman when I got a text from him ... OMG!!! Next thing I know the phone is ringing & Amy answered it for me, I heard him say "I want that dog!!"  Long story short, he text me when we were in Roaring Springs & asks how many dogs were in the car, I said 3, we had Wiener Dog with us. So we also got a new weenie today also. She is gorgeous!!! She is NOT like her sister, she is trouble in the car!! lol
 

We used to have Miss Kitty, KitKat, Dink (male wiener dog). There was a stray cat years ago that I fed & let in the house to sleep. I called him FlatHead, yes, he had a very fat head compared to his body!!

I had to laugh at your names. This is also how we name our pets.
We have Bigyellowbabycat,  Blackcat, Fuzzycat, Kittencat  and...  the Rooster. (who is also a cat.)

We are going to be adopting a baby girl in 4 weeks!! Our little girl will be 8 weeks old & we can't wait to bring her home!!

My brother owns a house and lives in Maryland. He says he has to pay for the rain that falls on his roof. Or the disposal of the rain. Or for the fact that his roof interferes with the natural fall of the rain. Or something...
They charge him by the square feet of his roof. This is in addition to property taxes. It has to do with rain. My eyes glossed over when he was explaining it.
I don't understand it but he's never lied to me before.
 
Sounds like Maryland has a different agenda.

I dont mind not having apples. The deer might though.

I hate to tell you this, but you're probably not going to get as many apples this year, dogg.
 
No advice on the dogwood. I severely wounded my fancy tree last fall. Backed a truck into it. It has less leaves than your apple tree.

I don't get past there very often anymore but when I do, the change from 10 years ago is amazing.
Thanks to all involved. I'm sure it wasn't easy.

Every time. I feel guilty every time.
And I'm old, so I've put quite a few down.
I wrestle with the decision every time, too. I take it very seriously. I hate to see them suffer, but I always wonder what gives me the right to decide that their life is so miserable that it should end.
 
I'm sure there's some guy living in the Hamptons who would look at my life and say it wasn't worth living.
 
But I love my pets, and am a responsible pet owner, and when it's time, I do it, and just deal with the guilt along with the grief. It's hard.
But there is always another animal with a sad story just waiting for a chance at a good home, if your house is empty, head on out to the pound and save one.
 
So don't second guess it. You loved your cat, your cat knew it. You did what you knew was best.
Grief comes in many ways.
