And there is my problem with this crooked idea. Contractors should not be paying those who hire them. It's supposed to be the other way around.

And the contractor says "don't we hand you FREE MONEY every year"?    That loud boom you just heard is the door being kicked wide open for any kind of cheating.  Dubois appears to have been proving my point.

It could depend on the contract. My guess they could also be selling scrap for the city and they are giving the proceeds of the scrap.    Another thing is the city might have a contract for example 100,000 tons of trash but only received 80,000 tons so they repay them the difference.  That's just my guess but I'm not sure

    $270,000 seems quite excessive.

It is kind of a catch 22.  Since he has not been proven guilty, let's assume he was operating within his contracted and legal capacity.  He would expect the City to defend his actions as an employee. Of course, his tax evasion charges defense should be funded by him.  If he is found guilty, part of his sentencing should be to pay back the city.

I do find it concerning the AG and government can confiscate your assests before you are proven guilty.  Freeze, yes.

The solicitor was wrong to state the city was paying legal bills because he had no money.  She made it sound as a personal thing.

Yes the AG can legally take assets before charges if there is a warrant during a investigation.   I have been involved in a AG investigation in another state and they usually have all all the T's creatures cross and I's dotted.  They don't want anything to compromise their case.  I'm thinking there's is a reason AG didn't have Toni testify.   They probably already had enough evidence and second, they're holding that card till trial. Or she's being investigated herself.

  3. When I lived in Georgia, our trash was included in our taxes.   When I looked at the tax bill line items it came out to be about 30 bucks a month.    They provide 1 recycling can and 1 trash can plus they took yard waste.   You had to rent additional cans.

But for dumpster we could use what ever company we wanted.

Do PSP organized crime unit investigators , from Erie , being involved indicate they`re over the target ? ....let`s wait n see. $$$ moving all over

Like you mean other might be involved moving moving?

Trust me,  from my line of work in a state agency, most likely they're already watching certain types of activity.  None of this would happen where I work based on the controls we have in place.

  5. Soooo the city used grant money for a dog park and not use it towards this? How disrespectful of the deceased at the cemetery, as well people donating time, labor, and money, when the grant from the dog park would have been utilized better in a respectful manner.
