  1. I have goosebumps. Thank-you for sharing this story. Faith, and her entire family, will be in my prayers.
  2. Call Cooper's. I got beautiful Romas there a few weeks ago.
  3. We just switch our labs off of Canidae after it go bad reviews for lying about ingredient amounts. We switched to Hi-Tek Naturals (Sweet Potato and Chicken, grain-free). They've been gobbling it up. I also discovered chewy.com has way better prices than Petco and free 2 day shipping! No more lugging the 40 lb bag of food home.
  4. Would anyone be interested in doing a group donation or fundraiser for her kids? I believe the obit said that a fund was set up in their name. I just feel the need to do something to make some kind of good out of this horrible tragedy.
  5. My heart is saddened to read this. Prayers for comfort and peace for her family. May God hold them close in the coming days and months.
  6. Our vet gives shots in the thigh area on his back leg. The bumps often show up either at the injection site or further down his leg, closer to the joint. At any rate, as I said in my previous post, I was just sharing my experience with bumps on my dog's leg after his shots. I hope the OP finds an answer.
  7. Sorry. I was just trying to be helpful. Good luck finding an answer. I hope your dog feels better.
  8. My guess is the bump is from his shots. Our golden often gets them at the injection site. They typically only last a day or two and go away on their own.
  9. I hadn't heard of any of this! I also plant impatients in my front beds. Thanks so much for the tips!!
  10. I believe the hospital referred to in the obit was at the current Snyder Twp building. I remember reading that is served as a hospital during the Flu Epedemic.
  11. I love Centralia. I had never heard of it before going out to eastern PA for college. My hubby thought it was pretty cool too.
  12. That's exactly what mine look like, especially this pictures without the visible white mildew. I went to a local greenhouse this year. I normally get mine from the Brockway FFA kids but their greenhouse wasn't open the weekend I wanted to plant. Lesson learned. I'm heading back to the kids next year.
  13. I was told at Cooper's that Romas would be ready next week. I use them to make both salsa and sauce. When I picked up my Peaches to can last week, she told me that they are just now seeing the Early Girls be ready.
  14. My impatients had a similar thing happen this year. In fact, I just pulled them last night. They looked too sickly to leave them in my beds. I thought slugs at first too, but the leaves weren't really eaten, just gone. I had a lot of spindly stems left. I first noticed the flowers were gone after a big thunderstorm a few weeks ago and they just went down hill from there.
