Love my bread machine for making pizza dough. I add extras to the mix like Italian Seasonings or Parmesan cheese and sugar gives a nice flavor also.

Great story. I've been lucky enough to have seen this. Hope to see it again sometime.

A friend of mine was using Borax on her carpets. Same as what was said here. We have used Frontline Plus and had good luck with it. Our Vet likes Advantix. You could flea bomb the house. Make sure you read instructions on the can before doing. Something else we did when we had a flea problems was spray the yard. You can buy a bottle of stuff that hooks to a hose and treat the yard also. I know treat the yard around the house seemed to make a differences also. We sprayed directly around the house where the dogs were being tied out to go potty.

My Mom and Dad talked of going up there every fall to look at the leaves. They always loved the trip.

I remember when I was a kid my Mom and Dad took us to see them and they had just moved them out.

You have my total support. I've had to make the same decision. Took a long time making the decision. I think I was in a bit of denial but I know in the end it was the right decision.

Back Yard Chickens is a great site with lots of good info. I signed up with them also.

I have about 38 chickens. I have about 18 I need to sell they are going on 4 yrs old. Not laying at all right now but are old. And 25 that will be a year old in April that are not laying. Mine are all heavies. Love the eggs I get when I get them. So much better then the ones in the store.
