  1. It sure looks like a wild ageratum ( blue mist flower) and they are a native Pa wildflower. Is this a current photo? I ask because I normally see these blooming in late summer so I am not sure. The leaves are right and the flower is right though!
  2. I checked my daffodils Saturday. The deer ate them all but 3 buds!
  3. Maybe Easter Egg radishes?
  4. Happy Birthdays!

  5. It could be a urinary tract infection which can be treated with antibiotics or crystal formation that might require a different diet. A vet trip is definitely the way to go.
  6. We have had fewer birds this year also......except for the doves....nearly 20 of those. We have had a couple tufted titmouse, a couple blue jays, a couple of juncos and 1 squirrel. We thought maybe the doves were intimidating the smaller birds so we added a hanging feeder. No visitors except for one woodpecker and just one time. We started feeding later this year so maybe they just found a better food source at someone else's house?
  7. I hope the leaves come down before the weather turns and we get a big snow!
  8. And she's probably right! lol Those eggs are beautiful! They look like chocolate!
  9. Happy Birthday, Spaghetti! I hope it was a great one!

  10. Have you tried spraying with vinegar? ( 1 part vinegar, 3 parts water and 2 teaspoons dawn dishwashing detergent). The problem with this is that this mixture will kill everything it touches, but if you want to knock out the green part without waiting for a frost, it does work. You still have to dig out the roots though or it comes back.
  11. Be very careful if you burn. The oils of the poison ivy burning smoke can damage the lungs.
  12. I am so sorry that you have to say goodbye to your pet.
  13. Happy Birthday Wildflower!

  14. I wish it was fertile! I would love to see the little peep that hatched out of that!

    what vet

Both the Animal Hospital on Shaffer rd and Animal Health Services on the Salem Oklahoma Rd have very kind and caring vets. We went through this last year with our lab. It's so hard. We probably waited too long. We did find that if you use a towel as a sling under her belly, it helped her to get down the steps to go outside. Dogs are also allowed to have baby aspirin.
  16. Maybe a coral charm peach? Center doesn't look quite right but it's close.
  17. Just a thought....a couple of years ago, we had such a cold winter that we lost about a quarter of out dogwood tree, part of our tree peony, and some of our perennials. It could be still suffering from that winter.
  18. I honestly don't know. The feathered antennae and chubby body mean it's a moth not a butterfly but I don't know what kind.
  19. How about a stripe of your granddaughter's nail polish on a toenail? A friend of mine did that with her twins when they were infants until they could tell them apart!
