Marion E. Hannawell, age 74 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Christ the King Manor. Born on January 18, 1947 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mac and Clara (Ruffner) Brubaker. She married Everett Hannawell, Jr. He preceded her in death on June 16, 1996. Marion retired in 2010, after 48 years of service, from the DuBois Regional Medical Center where she had worked as a nurse’s aide and had been a volunteer there as well. She was a member of Lanes Mills United Methodist Church in Brockway, PA. Marion enjoyed camping, going to the casino, visiting Erie, PA and above all, she loved being with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children (Veronica Anderson & her husband Brian of DuBois, PA and Everett Hannawell, III & his wife Jessica of Falls Creek, PA), 2 grandchildren (Alex & Scarlett), 4 brothers (Richard Brubaker & his wife Martha of TX, Terry Brubaker & his wife Lois of FL, Robert Brubaker & his wife Brenda of Brockway, PA and Bill Brubaker of Brockway, PA), and 4 sisters (Ruthie Littlefield of OH, Betty Jean Snyder & her husband Pork of Brockway, PA, Jo Anne Christopher of Brockway, PA and Barbara Porter & her husband Ken of FL). Dora Mae Dodd, age 92, of in Penfield, PA died Friday, December 24, 2021 at the home of her daughter. Born on November 30, 1929 in Penfield PA, she was the daughter of the late Hiram & Dora (Shoemaker) Bundy. On June 22, 1957 she married William H. “Bill” Dodd. He preceded her in death on November 14, 2012. Dora was a homemaker and was a bookkeeper for the Salvation Army. She was a 1947 graduate of Sandy High School. Dora was a member of the Treasure Lake Church and previous to that, she was a long-time member of Life and Light Free Methodist Church. There she was the Sunday School superintendent, treasurer, missionary president, and was involved in many other church activities. She loved to garden and enjoyed canning. She is survived by her son (Bradley Dodd and wife Bonnie of Sabula PA and her daughter Vivian Beck and her husband David of Weedville, PA), 5 siblings (Lois Garthwait, Elda Marie Jones, Carolyn Lauer, Emil Bundy and Hiram Bundy Jr), 9 grandchildren (Craig, Curtis, Eric, Nathan, Alex, Blake, Lance, Nick and Tony), and 4 great grandchildren (Liam, Madaline, Katelyn and Anna). Dora was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Donna Hallstrom, Jean Christian and Cleo Saldutte and two brothers, Kenneth and Lyle Bundy. Due to our current circumstances, there will be no public visitation and a private family funeral service will be held from Treasure Lake Church with Pastor David Ginn officiating. On Tuesday, December 21st at 12:34 am, Caroline Sabrina Ann Burr, 1 pound, 5 ounces, 11 1/4 inches long, of Dubois, was born an Angel into the loving arms of Jesus! Caroline is survived by her parents, Faith Williams and Tyler Burr Sr., siblings TJ, Arielle, Mason, Thalia and Finley, Grandmother Jennifer Guindon, Great Grandparents Rick and Judy Gibson and Gary and Susan Snell, Auntie Laura, Uncles Joseph, Andrew and Colten, Cousin Jessica, and several other aunties, uncles and cousins. Caroline has joined her Grandma Carrie, Grandpa John, and Great Great Grandparents Joseph and Lois in heaven. Elizabeth “Betty” Bigar, Age 92 of DuBois, PA died Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on December 10, 1929 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Matthew & Agnes (Rebich) Matusick. She was married to Joseph Bigar, Sr. He preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church Betty enjoyed playing bingo and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by a son, (Joseph Bigar, Jr. of DuBois, PA), her granddaughters, (Nicole Orban & her husband Philip of Mooresville, NC and Kayla Bigar Miller & her husband Kurt of King George, VA), four great granddaughters (Sloane, Reilly, Evan, and Isla), and by a sister, (Jane “Bunny” Astori of Brockway, PA). Paula Grace Spilman Born 9:10am on October 17, 1957 at Prince George’s General Hospital, Cheverly, Maryland, to parents Gerald & Gloria (Vale) Mitchell. She was a loving sister to siblings, Craig, Andrew, Marianne, Christopher and Eleanor. Paula found her great love, Wayne, at St. Margarets Elementary “in pre-school”, as Wayne said. After graduating high school as salutatorian from La Reine Catholic High School in Washington, DC, they were wed at the age of 18, foregoing secondary education to set up house and become caretakers to siblings. Shortly into marriage, she and Wayne started their family and she became a mother. Matthew Landon, Janelle Celeste, Carolyn Ann, Mark Anthony, and Christian Patrick would become their whole lives. She was a champion Mom; celebrating the diverse interests of five children. When her youngest was old enough, she started work. She served as a part-time assistant to pre-school at St. Francis school in Clearfield, a natural fit after many years of support in various fundraising and volunteering efforts there. She would build many lasting friendships within the community that remain today. When extra income became a need for her growing family, she took on a role with the Penn State Cooperative Extension - helping children and underprivileged families learn how to eat, nourish, and grow plants. Her yearning to learn never ended, as her work evolved and she took a position as activities coordinator with Ridgeview Elder Care in Grampian. She earned her way to a supervisory role and spent nearly 15 years caring for residents, entertaining them and honing her skills in dementia and Alzheimer’s care. She was an integral part of forming a first ever “snoozilin’ room” - offering sensory support to dementia patients. In 2016 when her husband passed, she brought herself closer to home, taking a post as activities coordinator for Dubois Village Continuum of Care Community. Her love of resident care was as contagious as ever and improved the quality of life for many, extending into the greater community. She spent her life loving, giving, caring, sharing, learning and growing. She welcomed two new daughters in law Robin (Brown) Spilman and Kaitlyn (Fitzgerald) Spilman, and one son in law Steven Affeltranger. She would be blessed to become “Nonni”, her chosen moniker, to her grandchildren; Gideon, Campbell, Avery and Hattie. She worshipped this role and they worshipped her as she lived for FaceTime calls and trips to Texas to visit and play with them. She loved her free time in the garden, walking the dog, pruning plants and tending her roses. She also loved her morning coffee ritual, a past time shared with Wayne, and watching the birds visit in her new windows, on continual lookout for those stunning cardinals. She always found pleasure in the small things - humble and gracious, she would under estimate her worth to all living things. She was and shall remain one of the most passionate, selfless human beings to ever walk the planet. There will be no public visitation. Jean Marie Bojalad, age 72 of DuBois, PA died Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Christ the King Manor. Born on August 3, 1949 in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Roger Charles and Genevieve Marie (Dahrouge) Bojalad. Jean was a 1967 graduate of Central Christian High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Mercyhurst College in 1971 and a Master of Education Degree from the Pennsylvania State University in 1976. She was a member of the Friendship Hose Company #2 Ladies Auxiliary, the Penn State Alumni Association, the Mercyhurst Alumni Association and Christ the King Auxiliary. Jean grew up and lived most of her life in the “Flats” of DuBois. She was extremely proud of her ethnic Lebanese heritage and enjoyed working in her grandparent’s store (Dahrouges) located on the corner of Main Street and West Long Ave in DuBois. Jean was the family historian; keeping detailed records of everyone and everything. She was the first person in her family to attend college to become a teacher, having taught at St. Catherine Grade School and eventually become principal of Saints Cosmas & Damian in Punxsutawney, PA. She retired from the DuBois Area School District as a high school history teacher. She was passionate about history, politics and her students. She remained life long friends with many of the students she taught and cheered on during their high school sports careers. As a young adult Jean spent summers traveling throughout Europe. She enjoyed attending rock concerts, going to the movies and watching sports, especially golf. Jean was affectionately known as “The Principal” by her close family and friends and her “Raise the Jolly Roger” text messages after a Pittsburgh Pirates win will be missed. Her ultimate love was for her family. Her life centered around her brother, niece, nephews and their families. Her generosity, kind-hearted spirit, smile and famous eyerolls will be greatly missed. Jean is survived by her brother (Robert “Boj” J. Bojalad and his wife Barb of DuBois, PA) a niece, (Kristen Vida & her husband Greg of DuBois, PA), two nephews (Robert Bojalad & his wife Shelley of DuBois, PA, and Matthew Bojalad & his wife Bailey of Southampton, PA and two great nieces (Morgan Bojald & Genevieve Vida) & three great nephews (Gavin, Oliver and Elias Bojalad). Michael E. Weary, age 54 of DuBois, PA died Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born on August 5, 1967 in Summit, NJ, he was the son of the late David Lee Weary and Dorothy (Van Wert) McGee. His mother survives and lives in DuBois. Mike had worked as owner/operator of Mike’s Custom Computers and most recently worked as a Team Leader at Giant Eagle in DuBois. He was an avid golf player and could be seen on the Gold Course every day after work. He was the past Club Champion and will be dearly missed on the course. He loved his guitars and was always trying new songs. Mike is also survived by 1 sister (Lisa Castellano of Somerset, NJ) and his step father Fred McGee. He was preceded in death by 1 brother (Peter D. Weary). There will be no public visitation. Service will be announced at a later date. Aaliyah Nikole Williams of DuBois, PA passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. She was 18 years old. On May 11, 2003 Aaliyah was born in DuBois to the parents of Laura Wascovich of DuBois and David Williams of Johnston, SC, both survive. Aaliyah graduated with honors with the class of 2021 at DuBois Area High School. While at DuBois Area High School, she was a 3-year member of the National Honor Society and a varsity cheerleader. Aaliyah was a bright, goal-oriented, young girl who worked very hard to excel in the classroom and always took the time to help others improve their grades. Aaliyah’s hard work and determination earned an academic scholarship to her “dream school”, the University of Pittsburgh, where she majored in Forensic Psychology. In her first and only semester at Pitt, it was no surprise to learn that Aaliyah achieved Dean’s List. Aaliyah was also a Pitt football superfan, attended every home game and never missed away games on tv. While at Pitt she quickly made many friends, who supported each other and enjoyed making memories on adventures around Pittsburgh. Besides Heinz Field, her favorite spot was the PPG ice rink. Aaliyah made friends everywhere she went. She welcomed everyone with her giant smile and followed it up with a big heart filled with kindness and compassion. She was a reliable ear to anyone who needed to talk, a true friend to many. Aaliyah loved spending time with her family and would do anything for them at a moment’s notice. Babysitting her younger cousins and visiting her aunts & uncles was the highlight of most weekends. In her short life, Aaliyah made her family proud, especially her mother. Aaliyah took a motherly role with her siblings and held high expectations for them. Aaliyah touched the lives of many, she will be dearly missed. On Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021, Jacqueline ”Jackie” LaBrasca, was called to eternal peace and passed away at the age of 71. Jackie was born on June 29 1950 to Bruno and Dorothy Paterline, and was raised in Charleroi. She graduated from Charleroi High School in 1968, and went on to West Virginia University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. She taught speech and language at DuBois Area High School. She was a dedicated Catholic and found much comfort in her faith. Jackie savored many hobbies. In her youth, she was an exercise enthusiast. She also appreciated fashion, with a particular interest jewelry. She loved movies and there were few horror movies she did not see. She enjoyed painting, arts and crafts, and later in life, card making. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy, her two children, Dr. Algie LaBrasca and Mistica LaBrasca Zeli, along with their spouses, four beloved grandchildren, Algie, Gianna, Rylan and Luca, four siblings, and numerous other friends and family for whom she loved. She was preceded in death by her father Bruno. There will be no public visitation. A private service will be held for friends and family. Mildred “Millie” M. Zydiak, Age 91 of DuBois, PA died Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Christ the King Manor. Born on July 11, 1930 in Valier, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Catherine (Rentovich) Baran. On June 26, 1954, she married her husband of 65 years, Emory “Paul” Zydiak. He preceded her in death on December 12, 2019. Millie retired from Montgomery Ward in DuBois after over 20 years of service. She was a member of Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church in Sykesville. She is survived by a brother George Baran of Michigan as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Millie was preceded in death by her 3 brothers; Russell, John, & Stanley Baran, and 5 sisters; Mary Kozlowski, Ann Allen, Emily Buckvich, Cecelia Benzie, & Betty Egelski. Judith E. “Judy” Wells, age 61 of Reynoldsville, PA died Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on March 31, 1960 in Curwensville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Joanne (Davidson) Black. She was married to Bernard “Bernie” Wells. He survives. Judy was a self-employed family day care provider and beautician. She enjoyed doing crafts, was a former cub scout leader, and was a former EMT with Brady Township Volunteer Fire, Rescue, and Ambulance. Judy is survived by her children (Angela Hale & her husband Thomas; Randy Wells & his wife Julie; Harlie Wells, and Dalton Wells), her significant other for 10 years (Joanne Sabatose), seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, brothers (Mickey Black & his wife Diane of Bunn NC; William Black & his wife Deb of Force, PA and Cyril “Buck” Black of Pennsylvania), sisters (Jean of Buffalo, NY; Maryann McKenrick of Curwensville, PA; Holly Work & her husband Keith of Canonsburg, PA; Eunice Foraker of Masury, OH; Viola Mancini of Masury, OH; and Carol Serricchio of Austintown, OH), and many special cousins, nieces, and nephews. Michelle “Mickey” P. Boger-Wolfgang, age 56 of DuBois, PA died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. She was born on August 24, 1965 in Fairfax County, VA. Mickey was the sparkle in every room she entered. She made friends everywhere she went, her bubbly personality leaving smiles in her wake. Dolphins, kitty cats, butterflies and glitter were a few of her favorite things. Mickey was a lover of Earth and a traveler at heart. A scuba diver, snorkeler, water skier, lover of sun and sand. Since childhood, her family has enjoyed tons of “cousin camp” with family vacations spanning from Tahoe to Bahamas to Israel. She found her other half meeting Dennis, and they clicked like a seatbelt. Mickey was madly in love with Dennis, and he was her world. They added strength where the other was weak. They supported each other in good times and bad, and the two of them were a shining beacon of good vibes in any room. Mickey and Dennis loved boating, motorcycle rides, and sunsets together at the ocean. Mickey will be missed by all. Her fairy dust will sparkle in our hearts forever. She is survived by the love of her life Dennis Wolfgang, Sr. of DuBois, PA. She is also survived by her mother Peg Painter, her twin brother, her sisters and brothers, stepson and family, including her two grandchildren. Gary L. “Lumpy” Lundberg, age 66 of Brockway, PA died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at his home. Born on October 23, 1955 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Robert and Ruth (Smith) Lundberg). On August 7, 1982 he married Sandra M. (Kost) Lundberg. She survives. Lumpy had worked in the Glass Industry in Brockway for close to 40 years. He loved to go to Sheetz in Brockway for coffee and lottery tickets. Lumpy also loved riding his lawn mower around his neighborhood visiting all of his neighbors. He was also an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing, and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. Lumpy is survived by 1 daughter (Marianne Lundberg of Brockway, PA) and 1 brother (Larry Lundberg & his wife Deloris of Daytona, FL). Sandra A. Bertini, Age 68 of DuBois, PA died Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on February 28, 1953 in Stump Creek, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Ann (Boboige) Kos. On November 19, 1983 she married her husband of 38 years, Tony B. Bertini. He survives. Sandra was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church where she was active in church affairs. She was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of a prayer group and the Rosary Infant of Prague Society. Sandra enjoyed playing BUNCO with her friends and traveling. Above all, she loved to spend time with her family. Sandra is survived by 3 sons (Brian Shobert & his wife Kim of Raleigh, NC, Guy Bertini of Chicago, IL and Gabe Bertini & his wife Michele of Lancaster, PA), 3 grandchildren (Jordan & Brianna Shobert and Anthony Bertini), 2 sisters (Diane Meehan & Judy Robitzer both of DuBois, PA) and 1 brother (Billy Kos of Stump Creek, PA). Born on January 23, 1937 in Luthersburg, PA, he was the son of the late George and Jessie (Huey) Campbell. Fritz was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served in the Korean War. On November 8, 1958, in Marion, SC, he married Alma “Petey” (Goodson)Campbell. She survives. Fritz retired from Triangle Auto Springs as a salesman after 42 years of service. He was a member of the Luthersburg United Methodist Church, the Garfield Lodge # 559 Free & Accepted Masons, the Jaffa Shrine in Altoona, the DuBois Shrine Club, the George D. Montgomery America Legion Post 17, and the Marine Corps League. He was past president of Luthersburg Gun Club as well as All Seasons Trap & Skeet Club. Fritz is survived by two sons, Frederick “Fritz” Campbell & his wife Toni and George Campbell & his wife Roxanne, both of Luthersburg, PA. Fritz is also survived by four granddaughters, Afton Campbell Sterling & her husband Cole of Texas, Kristen Campbell Plotner & her husband Jason, Kayle Campbell, and Brooke Campbell, all of Pittsburgh, PA. Fritz’s joys were his family, including his three great grand boys, George, Grantham, & Dominic. There will be no public visitation and a private funeral service will be held. Kimberly A. Alvetro, Age 52 of Sykesville, PA died Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Kim was born on December 18, 1968 in DuBois, PA. She is survived by her mother, Betty (Schoening) Armanini of Sykesville, PA, and was preceded in death by her father, Carlo Armanini. Kim was a graduate of the DuBois Area High School and The DuBois Business College. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her 2 grandsons, Bricen and Bentley. She was looking forward to meeting her new grandson Braxton in April. She is survived by her son (Nathan Alvetro and his wife Heather), a brother (Arthur Beatty Jr. and his wife Melissa), 2 grandsons (Bricen & Bentley Alvetro) and 2 nieces (Chelsea & Jessica Beatty). Robert M. Smith age 75 of DuBois, PA died Thursday, December 9, 2021 at his home. Born on September 1, 1946 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Norman J. and Isabelle (Duttry) Smith. He married Donna M. (Leonard) Smith. She preceded him in death. Bob was a heavy equipment operator for many years. He is survived by his children (Tracy Lyn Luce and her husband Danny, Sr. of Sykesville, PA and Vern Smith of DuBois, PA), 2 grandchildren (Donna M. Patton and Danny J. Eduardo Torres Jr., affectionately aka “Eddy” went to reside in the arms of our Lord and Savior on November 23, 2021, at the age of 73. At the time of his death, he was residing in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Eddy was born on January 8, 1948, to Edwardo and Salome “Sally” (Lopez) Torres in Rio Grande, Texas. He married once and had a daughter, Elizabeth Torres, and two stepsons, Joe and Jessie Quintanilla. Eventually, Eddy moved to Altoona, Pennsylvania with his long time significant other, Gloria Dugan. In Eddy’s younger years he could be found in parks around Denver picnicking. He had a sense of humor which made many laugh at his antics. He loved playing pool, fishing, and became involved in hobbies such as bird watching. While living in Pennsylvania he enjoyed going to the senior center and was involved in many activities there. Eddy served our country in the United States Army and served a tour in Vietnam. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Services Medal with Bronze Service Star; Vietnam Campaign Medal; and a Good Conduct Medal. Eddy is survived by a daughter Elizabeth (Andrea) of Denver; sister Rose (Rafael) of Ft. Lupton; sister Yolanda of Brighton; sister Delfina of Three Folks, MT; sister Delores (Philip) of Brighton; brother Paul (Marie) of Houston, TX; brother John (Linda) of Brighton; brother Ray of Brighton; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and beloved friends. Eddy was preceded in death by his parents Eduardo and Salome “Sally” (Lopez) Torres; sister Mary; sister Rachel “Judy;” brother Joe “Pepe;” brother-in-law Jeff; sister Frances; and stepson Joe. Eddy will be laid to rest on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 9:30 am at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. His absence will leave a large void in many hearts, but he is now singing with the angels and enjoying the presence of our Lord. Born on April 8, 1954 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Dorothy (Dexter) Wendell. She retired from WalMart in DuBois after over 20 years of service. Christine “Chris” A. Shobert, age 99 of DuBois, PA died Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on July 25, 1922 in Olanta, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Daisey K. (Aughenbaugh) Rowles. She married William A. Robb who was killed in action in World War II. On September 24, 1949 she married Donald B. Shobert. He preceded her in death on March 13, 2018. Chris was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in DuBois where she had been very involved in church activities. She taught Sunday School for many years and was active in the Ministry of People to People. Chris was a Gold Star Widow and she had also been a member of the George D. Montgomery American Legion Unit 17 Auxiliary. She was also very active with her husband Don in his many football and wrestling activities. Chris is survived by 2 sons (William A. Robb & his wife Susan of Raleigh, NC and Larry P. Robb & his wife Nancy of DuBois, PA) and 1 sister (Barbara Bryant of Florida), 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters (Kathryn Rowles, Natalie Bloom, Ruth Bloom & Thelma Keller) and brothers (Paul & Harry Rowles). Robert Edward King, age 79 of DuBois, PA, formerly of Windsor, NY, died Sunday, November 28, 2021 at his home. Born on October 1, 1942 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Henry C. and Matilda A. (Owens) King. He married Phyllis (Truesdale) King. She preceded him in death On August 22, 2021. Robert had lived in Windsor, New York for many years before moving back to DuBois. He had worked as a manager at the Blind Workshop in Binghamton, NY. He was an avid golfer and hunter, and was a social member of the American Legion. Robert is survived by 1 daughter (Roberta “Bert” Smith and her husband James of Gulfport, FL), 2 grandchildren (Jessica Nolin and Brandon Ketcham), 2 great grandchildren, 4 sisters (Margaret Gehm & her husband Edward, Rose Purdy, Sally Sprouse and Mary King all of New York). Timothy R. Ross, age 84 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Jefferson Manor in Brookville, PA. Born on July 2, 1937 in Falls Creek, PA, he was the son of the late Timothy and Angeline (Schiano) Ross. In 1968 he married Karen (Buganza) Ross. She survives. Tim was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. He retired from the maintenance department of the DuBois Area School District after many years of service, and previous to that, he had worked for the Falls Creek Borough. He was a member of the North Fork Watershed Association, Trout Unlimited and a 60 year member of the Falls Creek Eagles. Tim enjoyed fly tying and giving them away. Tim is also survived by his children (Timothy Ross and Susan Ross both of Falls Creek, PA). He was preceded in death by 1 brother (Joseph Ross). Constance K. Fitzpatrick, age 87 of DuBois, PA died Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Christ The King Manor. Born on April 13, 1934 in Brookville, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine (Cohlepp) Wright. On September 22, 1956 she married Wiley P. Fitzpatrick. He preceded her in death on September 30, 2016. Connie was a homemaker and had previously worked at Penn Traffic and the Holiday Inn both in DuBois. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. She loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State football. Above all, she loved being with her family. Connie is survived by her children (Kay Fredette and her husband Robert of DuBois, PA, Tom Fitzpatrick and his wife Sheri, Tim Fitzpatrick and his wife Paula all of DuBois, PA and Steve Fitzpatrick and his wife Amy of Waterville, OH), 7 grandchildren (Aaron, Joel & his wife Lindsay, Daniel, Marissa, Shane, Neil & Kyle Fitzpatrick), 2 great grandchildren (Eliza and Finn Fitzpatrick). and 1 brother (Patrick Wright of Punxsutawney, PA). Virginia L. (Kosko) Kaizer, age 94 of DuBois, PA died Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Christ the King Manor. Born on April 20, 1927 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Gulish) Kosko. On January 2, 1947, in Sykesville, PA she married her husband Stanley S. “Jeep” Kaizer. He preceded her in death on January 27, 2004. Virginia retired as Postmaster in Stump Creek, PA after 25 years of service. She loved to listen to her husband and sons play music and enjoyed watching her grandchildren play at their sporting events. Virginia is survived by 2 sons (Stanley G. Kaizer and his wife Sandra of DuBois, PA and Paul A. Kaizer also of DuBois, PA), 3 grandchildren (Stephanie Radaker and her husband Rod of DuBois, PA, Stacia Callari and her husband Tom of Brockway, PA and Stanley Kaizer of Ohio) and 5 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers (Paul Andrew Kosko and Lyman Gaul) and 1 sister (Mary Gaul Dostall).
