Petee
Yep, and there's probably little that you eat every day that hasn't been touched by it in some way or the other. That's why the organic movement was started. Now it's not workin gas well so they're going to add 24D to it to make it stronger. That's one of the chemicals used in Vietnam to defoliate the jungle canopy. Wanna eat it?
conservativeman633
I cannot imagine a "weed-killer" that is not a cancer risk.
Petee
They do exist but they don't work with combos of man-made chemicals. You can mix Dawn Dish Detergent, rubbing alcohol, water and vinegar and make a fairly good spray. It doesn't always get to the roots but it stops most weeds. soccermom
This just shows you the power that these global corporations have in this country. Why did it take WHO to tell us this? And what do you think our country will even do with this information?

Ridge Rider
The WHO's existence doesn't depend on chemicals used in weed killers. Perhaps we ought ask them what their available scientific data shows concerning carcinogenic, fertility, or mutagenic properties linked to their most profitable product. And what do you think our country will even do with this information? We've been told about it from the time it was first distributed but it takes time to do research studies. They have to wait till something happens, then prove how it happened, then they will deal with it. The solution, eat as organic as possible, grow as much of your own food as possible, eat as healthy as possible. Something's going to get everyone of us but if you want to die peacefully in bed, then it's probably not going to happen if you make your bed with chemicals. doctorluke

People are more likely to get sick from second hand smoke, having indoor pollution( Radon, carbon monoxide, incomplete combustion from oil or wood burning furnaces) than any chemical residue on food. People eating organic food are no more healthier than ones that consume non organic grown food.

I watched a brand new sweet as pie Round Up commercial today, the sweeter the commercial, look out.
