Researching the old DuBois Brewery, looking for help and especially pics, please?

Recommended Posts

I have been researching the DuBois Brewing Company architecture for a number of years, and while I have found many great exterior pics on the web (especially those at the wonderful Historical Society site) I have come up completely "dry" :) as to finding anything much at all in the way of "interior" Brewery photographs in general.

I am particularly interested in documenting the stand-alone Office Building (built later on in 1905-1906) with its basement room "Sternewirth" where I understand beer was served to the employees, and especially the second floor oak paneled "Social" room with large decorative painted murals which was located next to the Executive Offices. I'd actually be very interested in pics of any and all interior rooms of that Office Building from any time period, and any exterior shots as well.

For my research, finding Period pics from around the time of the building's completion in 1905-1906 (or thereabouts), especially of those two particular rooms would be an absolute Godsend akin to finding the Holy Grail! After many years, I have just about given up trying to find such interior shots, but hope springs eternal and I'm clinging to the idea that maybe I have just been looking in the wrong places... so I'm trying this.  I would be eternally grateful if someone local might be able to please help me either with pictures, or by pointing me in the direction of potential research avenues to find such pics. Thanks in advance for any and all kind assistance.
