Petee
A Marten has been stalking our chicken coop all summer and managed to kill several of my hens. On Monday night, hubby forgot to close the hen house because he had a bad cold, and it killed three of the last 5 including my green egg layers and my last LFG Marans which was laying. I can manage without eggs, but the two hens left can't stay warm well without more hens to fill the hen house. Might anyone have a few laying hens that they can part with? Petee
I received 4 beautiful fat hens from a lady who loved them and treated them so well. Guess what? HUbby is getting an automatic coop door for Christmas! LFG, I'm here at my daughter's house so we got a picture of Captain and his grown chick which is a rooster also. He's beautiful, but not as pretty as his Dad! I'll try to get the picture to you as soon as possible. Maybe Steve will load it for me. sapphire and Sanibel 1
