Administrators Pompeii Posted September 8, 2021 Administrators Share Posted September 8, 2021 Marie Chess, age 95 of DuBois, PA died Monday, September 6, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on November 25, 1925 in Reynoldsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Nell (O’Donnell) Nocerini. She married Jack W. Chess. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2011. Marie was a homemaker. She was a member of the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus #86. She was the last surviving member of her family. She was preceded in death by a sister (Catherine Nocerini) and a brother (Donald Nocerini). There will be no public visitation. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 11 AM from the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery with Msgr. Richard Siefer officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery. The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
