Administrators Pompeii Posted January 14, 2022 Administrators Share Posted January 14, 2022 Joseph Roy, age 85 of DuBois, PA died Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on May 25, 1936, he was the son of the late Anthony and Bertha (Brink) Roy. Joe was a member of PEER, Pennsylvania Empowered Expert Residents Program and was very active in affairs at the DuBois Nursing Home. He is survived by 4 nephews that he was raised with (Thomas, James, William and Michael Roy) as well as other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, 1 sister (Martha Beck) and 3 brothers (Melvin, George and Thomas Roy). Joe was preceded in death by 4 brothers (Mike, Charlie, Bob and Tony Roy) and 4 sisters (Violet, Agnes, Thelma and Pauline). There will be no public visitation. A private funeral service will be held at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Father David Whiteford officiating. Burial will take place in Troutville Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the DuBois Nursing Home, 212 South 8th Street, Dubois, PA.
