Thomas Eugene Frank, age 87, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, May 16, 2022 surrounded by his family.


Tom was born on Oct. 22, 1934 in Reynoldsville, PA to the late Clarence and Sophie (Ritsky) Frank.


On Dec. 11, 1957, Tom married Zella May (Cramer) Frank who survives. Tom loved Zella with all his heart and was devoted to her throughout their 64 years of marriage.


Tom was a graduate of Reynoldsville High School.


He proudly served in the United States Army. He was Christian by faith and loved the Lord Jesus. Tom attended Penn State University, DuBois campus. Tom was a salesman for Dracket and Hills Brothers and owned Pepperidge Farms, Bachman and Stella Dora franchise routes in the tri county area. He retired at the age of 48 and enjoyed his years of retirement. Tom coached for DuBois Little League for 30+ years including many All-Star teams with his good friend Jerry Pyne. Tom and Jerry’s teams won 3 state championships. In 1986, Tom and Jerry’s team finished 4th in the world after competing in the 1986 Senior League All-Stars in Kissimmee, FL. He was an assistant baseball coach for DuBois Central Christian in 1986-87. He was an avid athlete in many sports including baseball, football, basketball, bowling, and golf. In his later years, he loved playing golf in his yard and many of the local golf courses. His favorite teams were the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Pittsburgh Steelers.


In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by his five children: Kathy Morelli Bross and her husband Rusty of Frederick, MD, Theresa Gustafson and her husband Fred of DuBois, Mary Carlheim and her husband Dan of Philipsburg, Laurie Groves and her husband Dale of DuBois and Tommy Frank and his wife Stacey of DuBois. Tom is also survived by 15 grandchildren: Justin (Julia) Morelli, Monica (Chris) Clinch, Michelle Morelli, Kaylee (Sean) Bowser, Melanie (Brandon) Bumbarger, Markie (Corey) Rearick, Emily Gustafson, Carson Carlheim, Dannika Carlheim, Tori (Jeremy) Gallo, Teri Groves, Tyler Groves, Jackson Frank, Jordan Frank and Jessy Frank. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren with one on the way and one great-great-grandson. Tom is also survived by his brother, Jim (Carol) Frank of Florida and many nieces and nephews. His always loyal dog, Tebow, never left his side.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Kay Koontz, his son-in-law, Tom Morelli, and his grandson, Jason Morelli.


There will be no public visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date.


The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
