Administrators Pompeii Posted June 16, 2022 Administrators Share Posted June 16, 2022 Sonia M. Kot, age 63 of Falls Creek, PA died Thursday, June 16, 2022 at her home. Born on July 14, 1958 in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of Marlene (White) Heverley of Brockway, PA and the late Donald Clark. On September 3, 1977 she married her husband of 44 years, Michael W. Kot at St. Tobias Church in Brockway, PA. He survives. Sonia worked as a teacher’s aide for Head Start of Jefferson County. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. Sonia enjoyed the outdoors, camping, boating and mowing grass. She is also survived by her children; Joseph Kot, Sr. of DuBois, PA, Paul Kot and his wife Diane of Brockway, PA and Tony Kot and his companion Elaine of Oil City, PA, eight grandchildren; Joseph Jr., Dale, Kimberly, Lindsey, Dylan, Lena, Wilson and Laura Kot, two brothers; Charles Clark and his wife Linda and David Clark and his wife Michele both of Curwensville, PA, one sister Cheryl Boleen and her husband Rick of Brockway, PA and brother-in-law John Kot and his wife Carole of Erie, PA. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her step father Orlin Heverley. There will be no public visitation and a private family funeral service will be held. The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Hahne Cancer Center, 100 Hospital Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801.
