cweaver
My grandmother was at the hospital the other day when she began talking to a woman in the waiting room. They soon realized that they had some history in common concerning the West Liberty area. This woman has a copy of a diary that had belonged to the midwife in that area and it is full of historical information concerning the births in the West Liberty area. This would be of considerable value to my family history research. However, she left without thinking to catch the name of the woman. If anyone knows such a person, could they please let me know? Carter
There are a few of us on here that have ties to West Liberty, maybe someone might have an idea of who you are talking about and get back to you. I am racking my brain!
CommanderPost17
Although I don't know him, there is a local history teacher that lives out there, Todd Thompson, I believe, is his name. Might be a good point to stare. Or stop by Doverspikes garage, they have been in that area forever!
