cando
Other's thoughts on a couple of these dudes "gracing" the DuBois Boulevard car wash. To each his own, but thinking of the younger children passing by, esp. on school buses. Things nightmares are made of. Creeps me out, too, lol. Thumbs DOWN. PS: Remember these are just opinions so don't say "Drive on another street or don't look." boulevard car wash. Petee
I can't wait for all the nasty stuff of Halloween to be GONE so we can enter into the THANKSGIVING part of life that is a blessing for us all. When has Halloween ever been a blessing to anyone? YUK! Basset3, cando and Polo 2
Polo
I'm not a fan of the skeletons at all either. Hate to say it, but a lot of kiddos have worse decorations for Halloween at their very own homes. Wait til everyone sees the motorcycle in the area riding around with the fake skeleton sitting on the back passenger seat. I saw it the other day. fedup
Millions of people are going to vote for something worse than a holiday decoration. That scares me more than a skeleton. PARTY ON alexandria, etsaunt, Basset3 and 2 others 2
cando
Fedup, with all due respect - I've read just about every post from Steve's Great Awakening Blog from the very beginning. I research on my own as well. I sooo appreciate all the work Steve does to educate us during these trying times. I don't understand why some people act as if they haven't got a clue. For a change of pace I enjoy reading the variety of subject matter from everyone. I thought mine was one of those. Bringing politics here is unnecessary. This war we are in is not about politics or anything else in the mainstream news. We are watching this play out just like in the movies. This war is about Good (God, Light, Beauty) vs. evil (satan, darkness, ugly). GOD WINS! PARTY COMING SOON!
Petee
The reason it can never be solved is because the Ishmaelites (radical historic Arabs) do not even want the land, they simply want every Jew and born again Christian in the world dead. Otherwise Satan cannot move himself above God. It is unsolvable till Jerusalem calls out for Messiah, and that's biblical. They will not do that till they are on their last legs. One skeleton has a long wig and bikini on. And I saw them riding around DuBois this a.m. I had to laugh. Bon
disgruntled
Ridiculous. They are plastic. Metal tubes. Fabric. We all have a skeleton inside of our bodies. My skeleton is similarly constructed to every human on this planet, regardless of skin color. Why do you think skeletons are scary? Might be a good time to teach your little people that they need not be afraid of a combination of metal, plastic and fabric. Side note: some kids are terrified of Santa. Should we make sure that the giant inflatable Santa that appears at the end of the Blvd never reappears? momtothree and THX 1
etsaunt
I have never been a fan of Halloween but several houses in my neighborhood go all out with decoration. The kids seem to love it. Several families bring their you children to the area and even pose for pictures. If your child is afraid I get it so avoid the area. I do have to admit t, we went to the hunted car wash last year and i never laughed so hard. Props to the attendants for getting soaked in freezing weather for probably $12 an hour to entertain people.
