Olga Chiodo, age 86 of DuBois, PA died Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at Christ the King Manor Assisted Living.


Born on June 23, 1938 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Natalie (Vanerchik) Sedor.


Olga retired from Clearfield Jefferson MHMR as an administrative supervisor after over 20 years of service.


She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church where she was an active member of the Rosary Infant of Prague Society, and the DuBois Historical Society. Olga had also been a volunteer at the American Red Cross and Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.


Olga is survived by her children (Denise Katchmarchi and her husband Brad of Falls Creek, PA and Danielle Chiodo of Poland, OH), and two grandchildren (Adam and Anne Katchmarchi). She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.


She was preceded in death by seven brothers (Raymond, Alex, Andrew, Merle, Joseph, John, and Paul Sedor), and four sisters (Mary Boyer, Catherine Karesky, and Julia and Madeline Sedor).


There will be no public visitation.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish at St. Michael the Archangel with Fr. John Malthaner and Fr. Ben Daghir con celebrants.


The rosary will be prayed prior to mass on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.


Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Christ the King Manor, 1100 West Long Ave., and/or Penn Highlands Hospice, 100 Hospital Ave., both in DuBois, PA 15801.


The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc is in charge of arrangements.
