Administrators Pompeii Posted January 11 Administrators Share Posted January 11 Jean M. “Jeanie” Roseman, Age 75 of DuBois, PA died Thursday, January 9, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. Born on September 21, 1949 in Ridgway, PA she was the daughter of the late Ellery and Marie (Schreiber) Stoughton. On September 5, 1970 she married John P. “Jack” Roseman. He survives. Jeanie retired from Penn Highlands as a registered nurse after 46 years of service. She was the supervisor of the Obstetrical Unit. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church and was a member of AWHONN (Association of Women’s Health Obstetrical and Neo-Natal Nurses). She enjoyed antiquing, decorating her home and was associated with Primerica Financial Services. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially grandchildren. Jeanie is survived by three daughters (Melissa Baird and her wife Lorianne Barbey of State College, PA, Laura Tilson and her husband Cam, Jr., and Joanna Connor and her husband Dennis, both of DuBois, PA), one son (Matthew Roseman and his wife Amanda of Oregon), 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews as well as a niece that she raised after her mother’s death, Sarah Roseman (Steve Fulton) of Illinois, one brother (Kenneth Kerner and his wife Kathy of California), and one sister (Cathy McAllister and her husband Robert of Hyde, PA). She was preceded in death by two sisters (Marilyn Kerner and Mary Ann Fida) Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM from Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Parish at St. Catherine of Siena with Msgr. Richard Siefer and Father John Malthaner as con-celebrants. Burial will take place in St. Catherine Cemetery.
