Administrators Pompeii Posted February 2 Administrators Share Posted February 2 Donna Jean Dunlap Hilliard, Age 92 of DuBois, PA passed away into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday, January 31, 2025 at the DuBois Village surrounded by her loving family. Born January 15, 1933 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late David T. Dunlap and Florence (Overdorf) Dunlap. She graduated in 1950 from Sandy High School as Salutatorian of her class. Donna married Donald E. Hilliard on April 23, 1954 in DuBois. They celebrated over 56 years of marriage before his death on January 2, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Charles L. Dixon, Jr. Donna was a long-time member of the DuBois Christian and Missionary Alliance Church having served on many ministries of the church. It was always a blessing visiting shut-ins from the church. Before her marriage, Donna worked in the office at Rockwell Manufacturing Company. After being a stay-at-home mom for 23 years, she went to work as an Executive Secretary at Riverside Division of Penn Traffic Company and retired in 1995. She loved taking care of her flower gardens and spending time with her family and friends. Donna is survived by her son, Dr. David (Sharyl) Hilliard of Bethesda, Ohio and two daughters, Diane (Bill) Wilt of Darlington, PA and Darla (Tom) Kahle of DuBois, PA as well as her grandson, Jeremy Kahle of DuBois, PA. She is also survived by her sister Joan (Del) Spafford of DuBois, PA and a very special niece, Toni (Hilliard) Senior of DuBois, PA. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at the DuBois Christian and Missionary Alliance Church on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11 a.m. with The Rev. Daniel Muir officiating. Burial will follow in Beechwoods Cemetery Memorial donations may be made to DuBois Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 1004 S. Main. St. DuBois, PA 15801.
