fedup
That is sick and tired of users name and passwords? I have had a gut full of this bullsh1t. No human being in this world can remember all this needed information just to carry on normal life. Please let me pick my own user name and password. Quit telling me that I did not satisfy your rules. Lizard and Polo 1

No human being in this world can remember all this needed information just to carry on normal life. Please let me pick my own user name and password. Quit telling me that I did not satisfy your rules. I'm sick of it too. I write down all the passwords and try to keep a running log of them. Problem is, I had them stored in various areas on separate sheets of paper, and some I didn't even write down. Just went by memory. But that resulted in needing to make a new password here and there because I forgot them. I went and bought a password directory recently and now I am transferring all the passwords I wrote down into it. It is taking forever to compile it because I have so many. Yes, I agree that creating passwords is a pain in the butt. But if we want to do things online, which is getting to be the only way we can do things anymore, we need to have them. I have noticed that doing things the old way has been made difficult by the vendors, etc. They want us to do it all on line. That makes me mad. They should still accommodate good paying customers. I have relatives that like to order on line but they are limited as to what they can do. So I am making them their own personal password list with the items that only they need. For others, I order everything they need for them. That way, it just gets shipped to their door, no worries. I have had to do the same thing with all the passwords at my job. Seems like all I get done is setting up passwords and recording them. fedup
blueangel
I use colored index cards. Company name, web site, login information and any other information that I think is pertinent. Slide them into plastic sleeves in a small notebook. Easy to find, change information or get rid of. Polo

Better hope you have excellent security and fire walls installed. having all that information in a saved file is a huge security threat for you. And honestly, with you publicly saying you keep everything in a file is all someone needs to hack you and get complete control of your life because they know exactly where to look. Something to think about in this evil world. Scam after scam and people getting hacked everyday fedup and Polo 1
fedup
I used to keep scraps of paper in my wallet and put them on my desktop. Then the world went nuts. No room in my wallet and the desktop is nice but not safe I doubt anything is safe but if I get hacked they won't get anything.
