Born on May 28, 1940 in Baroda, India, she was the daughter of the late Ratanlal and Bhuriben Parikh. She was married to Vijay Shah. He preceded her in death. Shakuntala was a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter Nipa Shah and her husband Peter Shah of DuBois, PA, three grandchildren (Rima Shah, Vraj Shah and Pooja Shah), and two great grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, Shakuntala was preceded in death by five siblings. The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
