Tanner is a sweet loving 3 year old, 8 lb Jack Russel Terrier who needs a new home.  He has done nothing wrong, but circumstances have changed in his original home requiring him to be rehomed.  They do not want to take him to a shelter but will be forced to by the end of October.  He is a little shy but a wonderful friend once he knows you.  He is free when the new home has been approved.  He loves being outdoors except in winter.  I would suggest he come in at night though.  He will keep your yard free of critters including deer.  Call 814-590-9010 or e-mail 814-590-9010.  The family is trusting that I can find an exceptional home for him.  At one time we were going to take him but that situation has changed also.  He has not had any shots so introduce him to your favorite vet and enjoy years of sweetness.

I did have a lady who wanted to look at Tanner but decided she wasn't sure about his breed and small children.

That breed is excellent with kids!! If you remember about 30 yrs ago the (I think) PBS program Wishbone, well, that’s what Wishbone was.. a JRT!!

I know my daughter's two Jack Russells occasionally got nervous around small kids but never aggressive.  If they felt threatened, they just vanished.
