Muslims speaking whatever dialects they speak, Hispanics with horrible broken English. asians with horrible broken English.. Dont get me wrong I don’t have any issues with immigrants. As long as they do it the correct way, and in maybe learn how to speak our language. I’m tired of being labeled racist or whatever people wanna call it because I refuse to conform to them. just like if I went to their countries.. I wouldn’t expect them to learn my language.. alexandria 1
Petee Posted December 11, 2025 Posted December 11, 2025 Supposedly our country has been being infiltrated by foreign spies who are waiting for orders to act. On what? Who knows. Everyone better hope that ICE is also in our midst and knows who they are. Pray for our ICE agents and the military who are ordered to work with them. I'm sure they are not feeling good about being in the middle of this mess. How they sort out the immigrants from the citizens is probably very complicated. The immigrants can do anything they please, but the agents are under serious pressure to do nothing unless attached. I would not want their job, but we better hope they love theirs and will do a great job! Seadog, Jackson, Polo and 1 other 2 2

Just because someone has thick accent doesn't mean they can't speak English. Many of these immigrants do study English as a second language. In you travel with the us or meet people from other parts of the country, local accents, dialects, and slang can make verbal communication interesting. Might as well be from 2 different countries. At a conference, I once listened a guy from New Orleans get into a discussion with my friend from the Boston area. Definitely sounded like different countries. Locally, way too may sound like they learned English from watching Rocky movies. Incorrect word usage, poor sentence structure, mispronunciations, inability to string 2 or more coherent sentences together, etc. Basset3 and alexandria 2

Constitutionalist Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 And the whole point is.. if you want to come here, live here, be apart of our country. Then you should be proficient in the language… are you going to get mad and irritated that people aren’t speaking English for you in another country? Nope.. you learn their language so you can navigate.. nope. Not here.. exact opposite. Conform to them are you’re the bum.. alexandria 1

Polo Posted December 16, 2025 Posted December 16, 2025 My view is this: Everyone is welcome as long as they are working hard and paying taxes like the rest of us. And learning our language here. Any that are criminals need to be deported. And any that are against our constitution need deported. If they want to be here, they need to assimilate into our way of life here. That's what I would expect to do if I migrated to another country. And I also feel immigration needs to be done legally and regulated so that thousands of people don't pour in at one time like they had been doing. Thankfully, our President brought that to an end. We need to be able to address the problems of our own people who are already citizens first. I guess my views are similar to Constitutionalist. Constitutionalist, Titan and alexandria 1 2

Most immigrants back then came from horrible discrimination and political discrimination. Once they got here, they wanted nothing to do with the old country, and many even refused to let their children continue to speak the old language because they wanted them to fit in. They were smart, ambitious and knew what freedom meant. BigT, Polo and Titan 2 1
alexandria Posted December 17, 2025 Posted December 17, 2025 That is correct..the immigrants of yesteryear pushed their kids to speak English and tried to assimilate. Today, they don’t Polo and BigT 2
Petee Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 Today, many of them aren't escaping a violent country, they are part of the violence and they want to repeat it here in the US. Some others come for peace but do nothing to help support the peace. They want it given to them. A few others put their all into it and end up as victims of their own former countrymen. Then citizens who love a good fight for excitement and are ignorant of what they are doing attend the demonstrations and get their adrenalin fix, hoping to "feel" great when it's all done. It all adds up to Chaos! Currently I am doing an outline of Revelations, and it's eerily similar to what is happening today in this world. However, at the end of the 7 year Tribulation, the Christians will come back with Jesus and beat the tar out of the non-Christians. And guess what! The goal of the non-Christians (Satan's followers) will be Chaos to destroy and take over Jerusalem. Those who are Christians and have been trained in Heaven will be warriors on horseback and will save the Jews as they file through the Mount of Olives after it breaks in half to give them an escape route to safety. Then Jesus and His followers will do the clean-up and God will allow Him to take over the government of the world. Once all Satanic entities (and that will include those who refuse to make a commitment to God and His peace), will be cast into the bottomless pit so they cannot affect the 1000 year Millenium of peace with Jesus as the King of the world at the throne in Jerusalem. I never realized how interesting that book is. As a matter of fact I have avoided it till it became a job for me. All the information is in there but in a confusing and unfamiliar method because of the time in which it was written. At that time, symbolism was the only way to clarify what was being stated. Today we have clarification through language skills but it is still tedious because it cannot be rewritten. It must be left as is, and we are supposed to "study to show thyself unto God, a workman who need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." It's like finding the clues to a buried treasure so it's fun. BigT and Bon 1 1
Constitutionalist Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 Sounds like it’s a good thing a lot of us weren’t around like you said bon.
