Administrators Pompeii Posted January 10 Administrators Posted January 10 Mafalda L. "Muffie" Costantini, age 98 of DuBois, PA died Friday, January 9, 2026 at Christ the King Manor. Born on October 13, 1927 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Federici) Costantini. She was a 1945 graduate of St. Catherine High School. Muffie had worked as a Technologist in Nuclear Medicine for 34 years at the DuBois Regional Medical Center. She stayed on and worked another 10 years as a Radiology Secretary. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Muffie enjoyed reading, art and gardening. She was also a member of the Blue Army World Apostolate of Fatima. Muffie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by one brother (Anthony Costantini) and three sisters ( Mary and Armelina Costantini, and Aurora Coyne). The rosary will be prayed on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 9:00 AM, with visitation following from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 11 AM from Holy Spirit Parish at St. Catherine of Siena with Father John Malthaner as celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Catherine Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Christ the King Manor, 1100 West Long Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801.
