Bill went from $159 for 4000 gallons to $217 for 4000 gallons. If you work days through the week and can't get there before they close your screwed! Keep up the good work! What would happen if you sent them a check? Do they have a Drop Box at the city building?
Mahatma Kane Jeeves Posted February 20 Posted February 20 You can pay it in person at the former S&t Drive through across from the City Building or mail it in to the lockbox.

Gold Brick Posted February 20 Author Posted February 20 Probably could have if I'd found out about the late fee being wave cause everything is late, before I paid online. They could have put that we had extra time to pay on this months bill.

Just got our water bill and they expect it to be paid by the 25th or you get a big late fee. I am so done with the new water/sewer billing practices! And the new fees are ridiculous. We are only on the sewage system as we have our own well and still got billed for the water and sewage debt service fees! Called the office to ask questions, and no one answers and the message service cannot accept any more messages!

Perhaps I will get through next time to ask my questions. I hope the bill mailing comes sooner next time. I'm not going to pay late fees due to their sending the bills out late. I just needed to vent on here! Ha Ha!
Polo Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Just read an article online put out by the local radio station that water/sewer late fees for the City of DuBois will be waived the month of February due to the fact that the bills were sent out late. Glad to hear it.
Constitutionalist Posted February 24 Posted February 24 This increase is out of control… I have an elderly tenant who doesn’t even use the minimums of water and sewer and her bill almost doubled! Polo 1

More people need to express their honest opinions like adults. You vented properly! Polo 1
Constitutionalist Posted March 5 Posted March 5 lots of words used here to not really say anything… so the bills are wrong.. what about all the extra money people paid? Bet that’s not refunded https://www.connectradio.fm/news/fixing-dubois-utility-bills/ Polo 1
Polo Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Yes, they need to credit folks back anything they billed in error. Constitutionalist 1
