Guest Trish1118
Because they still use that tunnel and yes there was fresh limestone between the tracks when we walked it on Sat. . . . and you know what limestone is said to do--act as a recorder of energy and generates residual hauntings. So sounds like the perfect combination for residual and intelligent hauntings. Dodgeman

km2009
The bottom tunnel has had deaths in it, it is supposed to be haunted by a little boy that got lost and died near there. I can't believe how distinct the faces are in the first pic, I don't think I will be going through that one again. : I did not know about the boy until now. That probably explains what i saw up at the upper tunnel. I saw in the corner of my eye when leaving which what appeared to be a little boy. He was crouched down near the ground near the one hill. No joke. Makes sense now. When I was leaving I asked the others if they saw a little boy. I was the only one to see it.

I never notines anything spooky on the way thru.
joe6pack
just took a night walk through the lower tunnel, kinda creepy. where is the upper tunnel located? i got several pics with what i would consider to be dust/pollen and one possible orb. also where there frogs jumping into the water along the edge when you all walked through? Lol, yes Joe there were frogs jumping in the water when we went through, my wife about jumped out of her shoes when the first one splashed. ;D If you walk out the end of the first tunnel about 200 yards right after the stone wall, take a right up the dry creek bed and at the top will be a old railroad grade, follow that grade to the top tunnel. The front will look like this.

I'm up for a walk through sometime.....let me know when the next one is..... Anyone up for checking out the Highland St. Tunnel???? I used hunt fossils there as a kid...we'd need plenty of tick repellant I'm sure, because of the weeds....but......

Now the SECOND one, I see much more....the bright white orb is MOVING....rest of the picture, is quite sharp....but does anyone else see anything directly in the middle of the tracks in front of him??? I believe there is children's spirits around that tunnel from long ago. Ok, the trip when Dodge, his wife and a friend of mine went into both tunnels, I did not go, I stayed in my car working on a few things. After they all left was kind of nice, could hear nothing then a little time went by sounded like little kid laughing and just having fun, well I do know the area some, I know there are no houses near by, might be like a fourth of a mile. Well I continued to do a few things, was on the phone talking, when I was done, again I heard the child laughing, still no one around. I did look around some, thinking there was a child near, but did not see one. Dodgeman

Shmoopie11
I had some free time this afternoon and took a walk up to the Sabula tunnels and brought the pooch this time. I attached the link for the pics below. Lucy-dog was very, very timid and whining when entering the upper tunnel. She calmed a little by mid way through, but then became apprehensive again towards the very back end of the tunnel where the newer brick starts. In the lower tunnel, no problems at all until where the steel reinforcements are. She growled right around the same point that my hair stood on end and it turned ice cold. It went as fast as it came.
