Wow. Calling this year a "vacation" for teachers. C'mon. Especially for LOCAL teachers who have been teaching online students at the same time as in-person students and adapting to a 100 other stupid mandates along the way. Our LOCAL teachers have busted their asses this year. If you want to carry on and complain about idiotic leadership at the National level, that's one thing but slamming teachers in general is out of line.2 points

Time to go back to in school full time with New Biden mask announcement

That is the very good thought opinion point of what the aftermath will be . A lot students werent able to avail themselves for virtual learning especially in the big cities. Or got very disgusted and stopped. Teachers in rural schools like Brockway ought to be commended for how they handled the transitions and kept the majority of education in school except when the few times Covid protocols regulated them to close. Could you imagine missing almost whole year like some in New York or California?1 point -

It is interesting how the union suddenly agrees when in some areas they resisted even still. It truly shows the teachers who really care about the children they teach and how important it is. Our kids got cheated this past year. It’s shameful. Depression, even suicide and a lack of quality education is apparently healthy. Being that they denied them a good education citing covid and its associated health factors. Covid...unhealthy. Depression, suicide and a crappy education...healthy? Is that really the better one?1 point -

I see we agree with the 100 stupid mandates. And the actions of the AFT. I have 5 educators in my family. I work in education. ONe retired locally, the other 4 near big cities. They agree with me.1 point -
If there are new teachers....they first should be screened-out if they choose to spread the Marxist Doctrine to innocent American children.1 point
